A Modern Hospital In Fethiye

Private Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital had started service as a polyclinic in 1997, and has become a notable hospital with 15 years of successful operation. The hospital management completed the fully equipped modern new building in short time that will give the area health care services with the support of Fethiye Chamber of Tradesmen and Artisans, Fethiye Chamber of Drivers and Fethiye Tradesmen and Craftsmen Credit and Bailment Cooperative.
Republican People’s Party Muğla deputies Tolga Çandar and Prof. Dr. Nurettin Demir, Fethiye district governor M. Ali Karatekeli, Garrison Commander Gendarmerie Major Halil Özçelik, Fethiye Mayor Behçet Saatçi, President of the Union of Chambers of Artisans Şükrü Ayyıldız, community mayors, chairs of chambers, hospital workers, many officials and citizens attended the opening ceremony.
NEW LOKMAN HEKİM ESNAF HOSPITAL IS THE LARGEST ONE IN MUĞLA IN TERMS OF INTENSIVE CARE SERVICES, MEDICAL STAFF AND BED CAPACITY
In his opening speech, Chief Physician of Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital Dr. Murat Aynacı told about the mission and the vision of the hospital. “Our hospital started service in 1997 with 4 doctors and 1 ambulance, and in short time has become a full capacity hospital. We adopted a modern health philosophy and our mission is to make the reliability of health services, patient satisfaction and dignity and our basic principles, to regard a policy above and beyond the institution’s interests in diagnosis and treatment for patient satisfaction, and to serve in international standards. Our former building will keep service in category C, while the new one will be raised to category B. The former building has 22 specialist doctors, 6 general practitioners, 250 personnel, 2 surgery rooms, 5 intensive care units, 2 ambulances, 24 private rooms and 34 beds while our new building houses 28 specialist doctors, 8 general practitioners, around 300 other personnel, 5 surgery rooms, 5 ambulances, 62 private rooms for in-patients, 102 beds and 14 Intensive Care Units. In our new building we have fully equipped and functional emergency room, coronary care, newborn care, delivery rooms, operating rooms, laboratory and radiology. An additional doctor added to the Departments of Gynaecology, Internal Medicine and Paediatrics, together with the opening of a Plastic Surgery Department and the appointment of an experienced surgeon. I am very thankful to everyone and every instittute who have supported us during the construction of our new hospital.
