Domestic and foreign tourists visiting Kaş in Antalya enjoy their adventure by paragliding in the sky. The cost of flying from 600 m and watching the unique view of Kaş for 35 minutes is 100 Euro. Kaş, the most important centre of paragliding following Mount Babadağ in Fethiye, has become a centre of attraction for domestic and foreign tourists. In the north of Kaş, tourists go to Kırdavlı Hill, 600 m high, by minibus, and put on special clothes before they fly. After the training of experienced pilots, the speed and direction of wind is checked. Parachutes floating from Kırdavlı stay in the sky for about 30-35 minutes. On this trip, it is possible to see Bey Mountains, the Mediterranean, Çukurbağ Penninsula, Meis Island of Greece and Kaş City centre from above. Those who would like to make this unique view immortal record the sky with the camera of the pilot. The trip is completed on Kaş Marina and the cost of this flight is 100 Euro. South Korean Zhao Teng said, “This is our first time for paragliding with my wife. She was very nervous. I feel very happy. The view was amazing. We will come back and do paragliding again.” Umut Karabayraktar, a holiday-maker in Kaş, said, “First, you feel scared. The view is wonderful. The water looks great from above.”
Pilot Hüseyin Venske said this is one of the most beautiful flight spots in the world: “Meis Island, the sea and nature are united while you are flying. Anyone who would like to enjoy this unique experience is welcomed here.”
