buFethiye Mayor Behçet Saatçi made a statement concerning the complaints targeting the Municipality of Fethiye about the charging on Çalış Bay recently. As a punishment against the billboards hung to raise awareness on the projects of the Municipality which have not been signed in Ankara in 2010, Çalış Beach, bays at Boncuklu Yarım Island have been taken from the jurisdiction of the Municipality and given to Fethiye Union of Tourism Substructure and Joining Forces with the decision of the Ministry of Forestry. Fethiye Mayor Behçet Saatçi felt the need to make an explanation concerning the complaints and shares about the charging in Çalış Area recently and pointed out that Fethiye Municipality did not have the complete authority on Çalış Beach. Mayor Saatçi said, “After the banners hanged to inform you about the issues which we could not get permission from Ankara in 2010, Çalış Beach and the bays at Boncuklu Yarım Island have been taken from the charge of the Municipality and given to Fethiye Union of Tourism Substructure and Joining Forces with the decision of the Ministry of Forestry. So we cannot get involved in these mentioned places. Due to the unjust criticisms both on social media and phone calls made to our Municipality for the new applications on Çalış Beach, I have felt the need to make this announcement.”

Lawyers Investigate the Cape Şat
