Foreign Students in Muğla University
For the first time in the history of Muğla University, 160 foreign students will be enrolled.
160 foreign students have achieved the right to be enrolled in Muğla University among the foreigners who prefered to have their education there, Azerbaijani students are the first. They are followed by students from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr. Yusuf Ziya Erdil said that Muğla University is now among the other universities that accept foreign students. “160 foreign students prefered our university, and has achieved the right to register. We have applied YÖK to increase the quotas for more 30 students. Requests for our university is mostly from Balkanic and Middle Eastern countries. Most of the students who prefered Muğla University are Azerbaijani, followed by Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan students. We are a tourism city and our province’s university is moving rapidly towards becoming an international university. In addition, through Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana Programs, both our students will go abroad, as well as a number of foreign students from abroad will have the opportunity to know our university.”
