Ali Bahçetepe has failed to break his record in the category “breaking the most concrete blocks in one minute” for the Guinness Book of Records.

For the events of August 30 Victory Day organized in cooperation with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Fethiye Council, the record trial took place at Beşkaza Square. Ali Bahçetepe only managed to have broken 1123 of 1246 blocks in 51,69 seconds.

Bahçetepe, who had broken 1175 concrete blocks before, could not break his own Guinness record this time. Bahçetepe explained the reporters that he worked hard to present this record to people on August 30 Victory Day but could not march into the book. He said, “I am very sorry. I have applied almost 40 times to Guinness World Records so far. Only 17 of them were successful. We have added another unsuccessful record trial.”
