Turizmgazetesi- The staff of Sentido Djerba Beach Hotel in Djerba, one of the important touristic sites of Tunisia, had Thomas Cook closed off the second biggest group in European travel market.

Due to the dispute between the union representing the hotel staff and hotel management, the strike in the hotel extended and Thomas Cook stopped winter reservations for the hotel.

It was announced that there would be no more new reservations until March 26, 2015. Guests having reservations in this facility up to this date would be sent to other hotels in the region.

It was also announced Sentido Djerba Beach having total 188 rooms would remain closed until November 30. Tunisia Tourism Office authorities stated this situation was an exception.
