Adnan Halat, who had been living in İçmeler, Marmaris and running a Jazz bar passed away in the private hospital in which he was receiving a treatment.
Adnan Halat provided opportunity for several singers to grow in the world of jazz, and by hosting many local and world-famous foreign musicians at Fuaye (Foyer) Jazz Bar, he contributed to the promotion of the country with music.
During his stay in US, Halat had internalized jazz philosophy. His burial and funeral was at İçmeler New Cemetary and his friends did not leave him alone in his last journey. Fuaye Adnan was bid farewell with his favorite songs and his friends met in Cafe Anne after the funeral, telling their memories of him.
