Chemical Peels

The accumulated effects of sun exposure, pollutants, acne and scarring can damage our skin and cause us to look older than we are. Such skin damage can be treated with a chemical peel, a non-invasive procedure designed to promote cell growth and produce smoother, clearer skin.

What To Expect

At the time of your peel your face is cleansed and dried and the solution is applied. The product is left on the skin for two to eight minutes and removed using cold water. A neutralizing gel is then applied followed by a vitamin serum massage and to finish a sun block.

Will The Procedure Hurt?

When the product is applied to the skin you may experience a tingling and mild stinging sensation. This will pass once the acid has been neutralized. The skin may also experience a mild sunburnt sensation for an hour following treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

It is recommended that you have a course of six treatments 1 week apart to see maximum benefit. Some people may benefit from a second course of treatments after resting the skin for 2 – 3 weeks
