It”s cold and windy and i for one am not a winter person.
Luckily the winters here are pretty short and i can see light at the end of the tunnel.
I am happily settled into my new job now and enjoying the freedom and time off as much as the work.
It is also very satisfying to try and help people resolve their problems and start to get the most out of their life here.
As 2010 is a year in which i get stuck in and finish off the house, get healthier etc i ventured to the dentist and have started to get my teeth up to date.
Never one to truly relish this experience i was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the new surgery is and how gentle and knowledgeable my new dentist is.
So if you too dread the drill - get along to see him in the new lykia shopping centre in Fethiye his name is
CAGATAY ARAS and he speaks perfect english.

As Valentines day approaches i am really amused at people”s attititudes varying from "not after you are married" to "commercial claptrap" etc.
Only a few people confessed to actually bothering to buy a card or go out for a special meal.
So is romance really dead?
Come on - inject a bit into your loved one”s life - after all you only live once and i do think too much grumbling is bad for you and boring for the rest of us !!!!!

I noticed there were some really great flight deals around so Glenn will be going to visit his mum in the uk for 2 weeks in March.
We paid £80 return including baggage so were well pleased.
Its worth checking the websites daily as the prices change all the time.

Everyone”s been talking about the price of meat recently and how much more expensive it has become.
We don”t eat loads of the stuff.
Part of being healthy is to incorporate less red meat into our diet and more fruit and vegetables, chicken and fish.
We have to find a balance and buying in season here is always the best option.
Get inventive - look at the BBc food recipe bit on the web, its a real lifesaver.
And yes, roll on the summer when we don”t really cook at all and life seems to be just one long big picnic.
Until next time, take care, keep warm and dry and tell yourself -"summer is coming "
Best wishes
