36-year-old Sezgin Özdemir received an electric shock while repairing a tour boat at the boat yard in Karagözler, Fethiye. His heart stopped beating, and he was turned back to life with the intervention of 112 emergency team.

The boat was anchored at Karagözler boat yard due to electric failure, and Sezgin Özdemir received an electric shock while trying to fix it. Other workers on the boat heard the noise and went to check him to find Özdemir lying on the floor. They cut the power and called 112 emergency service. The team immediately arrived at the scene and gave him an electroshock, applying cardiac massage at the same time. After a 15 minutes struggle, Özdemir was back to life. He was picked by the ambulance and sent to Letoon Private Hospital to be connected to the intensive care unit. It was reported that he could not overcome his life threatening situation yet.
