buMuğla Chamber of Tourist Guides whose short name is MURO and which held its first congress as soon as it was founded aims at struggling against illegal guidance activities with the new arrangements.

T. Serkan Molvalı has been elected the president of the Chamber at the first congress and become the first president of the Chamber. The first president of Tevfik Serkan Molvalı has become the first president of Muğla Chamber of Tourist Guides whose first regular general assembly meeting held in the service building of Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Molvalı is to be on charge for 3 years.

The Chamber President T. Serkan Molvalı states that in accordance with the Tour Guiding Occupational Law carried into effect on June 2012 and Regulations accepted on February 2013, the illegal guiding activities will be prevented effectively and professional tourist guiding services can only be carried out by tourist guides having license and employment cards, otherwise, it will be constituted a crime and tourist guides will be frequently supervised for their obligation to obey the base pay and make contracts. The President T. Serkan Molvalı added he wished the elections would bring good luck to tourism sector and colleagues.
