Vegetable Loaded Lorry Overturns in Fethiye

bubuA vegetable loaded lorry lost control and overturned in Fethiye. The 56 year old lorry driver Talip Özkan who was claimed to sleep at the accident got a broken arm. The accident happened at about 11.00 on the 53rd km of Fethiye-Antalya Highway in Seki District of Fethiye. Talip Özkan left Fethiye to export tomato to Russia, however his lorry with the license plate number 61 K 9925 lost control near Kınık Village. Talip Özkan was injured at the accident and the lorry overturned. The emergency service teams took Özkan to the ambulance for treatment to Fethiye Public Hospital. The authorities said Özkan was getting better and there were fractures on his right arm.

Tomatoes Turn into Sauces

The police arriving in the scene have started an investigation. The engineering vehicles started evacuating the 30 tons of tomatoes in the lorry and the tomatoes could not be exported and they would be turned into tomato sauce.
