Fethiye Mayor Behçet Saatcı pointed out, “You are not foreigners, you are a part of us, and you are the family. You are trying to fulfil the needs of Fethiye. Beside your works for education and street animals, you give the best support with the promotion of Fethiye as well. We didn’t feel cultural difference with you; we gained more from each other. You have given scholarships to university students, which most impressed me and I will never forget. I will never forget this support for all my life. I would not do what you did if I were living in England. Thank you for your valuable supports. I am very delighted to be with you.” Fethiye District Governor Ekrem Çalık said; “First of all, I would like to thank you for your supports to society. I had lived in England with my family between 1990 and 1991. And I realized good people and bad people are in every country. As Rumi said, ‘Come even if you have broken your vow a thousand times, Come, yet again, come, come’. Our town is open for everyone. I would like to thank you for all your services and supports and hope your support continues.”
