TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, “Workers in tourism sector working in winter will be able to be employed without paying insurance premium.”

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the President of Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, paid a visit to Marmaris Chamber of Commerce. He said they would like to extend tourism season to 12 months, workers of tourism sector would be able to be employed without paying insurance premium and this would reduce the tax burden of tourism professionals.

Chamber President Baysal made a speech at the meeting and stated: “We have started several projects for the future of our region. I appreciate Mr.Rıfat for always supporting us. Our biggest project is “Marmaris Honey House” which we implement for branding as Marmaris honey is one of the most significant products of our region. We have reached 30 thousand visitors in a year. We have provided certificates to 137 beekeepers in our region. We plan an international apitherapy symposium for honey products for the first time in Turkey”.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu also made a speech and said that Muğla Region has the most active chambers and commodities: “You should be proud of yourselves. Our capacity is 5 stars based on service standard and worldwide quality. Marmaris is one of the most developed districts in Turkey. You are on number 22 in the richest districts of Turkey. The first thing comes to your mind for Marmaris is tourism. The main purpose is to extend tourism to 12 months here. Our President has made a promise. The workers related to tourism will be employed without payments of insurance premium in winter months. This will reduce the burden of tax for tourism managers. People will not be fired and get unemployed at the end of season this way. I hope we will make it possible after November 1 elections.”
